This version of the Westland Scout was based at Thruxton airport where I spent a few hours taking photos at the end of 2009. It has now been re-located to New Zealand.

It was originally owned by the army and painted green but was then sold to the navy for use as a trainer. Here it was painted in navy red-white-blue, all except the rotor head and tail blades which were left in the original army colour to save on costs.
