"A Bit of a Challenge" captures the life of Len and includes details of how he built his championship winning scale helicopters.
With over 140 pages - many of them, in full colour, the book details events from his life including how he started in building helicopters, his experiences in flying his models in James Bond films, TV and pop videos, some sinister going-on's in Eastern Europe, competing around the world in F3C and scale, and tagging whales in the arctic!
It is an entertaining read, even if you are not into radio control helicopters. Len also wanted to cover how he approached the research and then building of a scale R/C helicopter. Therefore the second half of the book is dedicated to this and includes photos of how he built a large scale model of the amazing Red Bull BO105 aerobatic helicopter.
