I was already making and selling a turbine trainer known as the LM Odyssey, but those who had bought it then wanted something more aerobatic. The Odyssey had the turbine mounted underneath the mechanics which gave it a low centre or gravity and hence stability. To make the machine more responsive the turbine was mounted above the mechanics - and so the Tomahawk was born.
This has sold very well and is faster and more agile than most aeroplanes!
