I needed a 'small' helicopter for traveling abroad and so looked for a suitable model to build. I'm not sure why I chose a Jet Ranger as every manufacturer has one of these. All I remember was that it was big enough to take my own mechanics and a turbine engine.
For a change this was not based on any 'real' helicopter - it was my own personal 'hack' model. I had it for around 3 years and it travelled all over the world - it was known as the 'Globe Flyer'.
